The Vista House at Crown Point

I will be the first to admit that early mornings are brutal. I will be the first to admit that I only get up at that time of day out of self-preservation and the look of the early morning skies. Yowsa.

This is the Vista House at Crown Point. It was built between 1916 and 1918 as a memorial to the Oregon pioneers. It rests near the end of the Historic Columbia River Highway 700 ft above the Columbia River. The view is 360° and is fabulous.

Definitely worth the trip up there.
