Day 144, 2012 All I can say is it is a good thing the inn is full right now.
Karen and I went out to the Marion County Dog Shelter today to take photos of the adoptable dogs. Once again, it was such a nice group of dogs. There could have been room on my couch for every one of them.
Hope was my heart breaker today. It was pretty much instant love, she is such a lovely, beautiful girl. She’s pleasant and well-mannered and oh so soft.
I love spending my time out at the shelter. The dogs are amazing, I often walk away wondering why they haven’t found their forever homes yet. Someone said to me today that they just couldn’t even visit the shelter because they would want to take them all home. I too, suffer from that syndrome, but I also know that if just one photo can help them connect with their forever family, it’s worth our time in gold.

I used to have blue merle Shelties, still my favourite colour dog. Hope is gorgeous, I’m sure she won’t have any trouble finding the right home, especially with her lovely nature. Beautiful photo.
