Living dangerously

Black rabbit photo

Is this Lil’ Bunny Foo Foo or Roger Wabbit?

I had heard rumors there was a new pet in town, but until today when I pulled in the driveway after work, I had not seen hyde nor hair of the little guy.

He was sitting next to a shrub right by the driveway. The sudden urge to go get my camera hit me like montezuma’s revenge. Ok, not quite, but I really wanted my camera out there. Somehow, I managed to make my way in, get a lens on the camera and back out the door before he moved a muscle. He watched me quite closely, in a disapproving sort of way. If I came one blade of grass closer, he was gonna be out-of-there. I did and then he did and the chase was on in the front yard.

I tried to impart my motherly wisdom on him. I told him if he went toward the street he would be in danger. I told him if he went behind the fence where all the greyhounds roam he would be in bigger danger. I tried to warn him that his passage of safety was right where he sat.

He really is a cute little bugger, I hope he listened.

I also hope I can quit singing Little Bunny Foo Fo0 to myself. This could drive me crazy.
