To grandmother’s house we go. And it’s lots of fun at grandma’s house. I have a fully fenced acre, already established places to dig, kiddy pools and squirrels. Lots and lots of squirrels who have mastered the art of dog-taunting.
Yes, these are my four grand doggers. Jericho the Italian greyhound joined us in June and Goldee the long-haired weimaraner joined us in September.
Judging by the looks of the settee, they had a really good time before we could even attempt to do the grand dogger group photo. As you can see, I have a mom to the left and a mom to the right armed with treats and pleading them to sit still for just one minute. I think I got 30 seconds.
Last Sunday was our day to do the yearly family photos. Both of my daughters and their families drove down from Portland. Our weather has been so schizophrenic, I spent days worrying about getting a little bit of time without rain… and yes, we scored.
Hmmmm, I wonder if 2015 will bring us any new grand doggers.
