When I first met the that pretty little white and brindle girl, she had just finished her surgery for a broken hock. She was sweet and friendly and almost ready for her forever family. Her name was Uno and our small, but loving adoption group was raising funds like crazy to pay for her original surgery and the second surgery she had to have following a few complications.
I was thrilled when she came to the Oregon Greyhound Adoption photo fundraiser a few weeks ago. I get to take the photos of the dogs available for adoption, but then I don’t always know what they are up to.
Uno, now known as Brooke is doing so well. She has a sister-friend and is loving life.
Just look at how happy she is and you would never know by looking at her that she had to have surgery to fix the hock.
