It’s true, we spent an extra in New Orleans. The French Quarter is a fascinating place. We spent our time combining eating, drinking water and people watching. We also managed to get our fair share of puppy dog kisses from strange dogs. Perhaps that was the best part of the day.
The food was amazing. We found that the little hole in wall cafés were the best. Everything you ever hear about a muffaletta is true.
And then there is our son-in-law Joe. He warned us about the beads. We saw people throwing them from the balcony. We collected our beads and we’re not saying how we got them.
