Our last stop on our whirlwind tour with Santa Paws was Nature’s Pet Market Wilsonville.
The rain came down in torrents, but that didn’t stop us from having a fabulous party with Santa. Dogs and kitties and even a bird lined up to whisper their holiday hopes and wishes in Santa’s ear.
And then, we had a special visit from a pack of weimdeer.
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone that came by for photo with Santa Paws. On a personal note, this past Friday we had to amputate one of our greyhounds legs. He has osteosarcoma, a beastly aggressive bone cancer. We’re hoping we caught it early and that with chemo we can buy lots of time with him. These are the reasons I believe so strongly in photos of our pets. They become the memories that make us smile and laugh and give joy. Place them on the mantle, hang them on the wall, but get photos of your pets when you can. We never know when the unmentionable will happen.
Thanks to everyone that came out, we will be donating $650 to Project Pooch.
I have a gallery up with additional photos to purchase. Here is the link to the proofing gallery.
