601 – Blue and gold

ISO 100, 100mm, f/20, 1/125 sec

This is the south face of Cape Kiwanda. We hauled out of bed this morning so that we could go back out to Pacific City and do a little more exploring in the daylight.

Directly east of the cape is a sand dune just waiting to be climbed. Well, let’s just say that it was steep enough that there was no climbing from this girl, but rather three steps up, slide back one and rest. This is the view from about half way up the dune.
