Shades of fall

Day 666 This bush lives outside of the building I work in. Last year I noticed the vibrant purple berries. The tree right behind the bush is turning a beautiful orange. They just seem to go together.

Two sore thumbs

Day 664 I can hear my mother now, if I had been standing on that bank with her, she would have said that the twin trees “stuck out like sore thumbs.” They were quite beautiful as they waited to be blanketed by the fog.
