My ten favorite photos of 2014

I admit that I don’t get to photograph enough kitties and Jax was probably one of the funnest cats that has ever been in front of my lens. This guy was simply amazing. He preened and showed off. I could have easily spent hours just watching him. I don’t always know where my sessions will...

Musca, an Icelandic horse

Musca was another one of the horses up at our boarding kennel. She was absolutely the sweetest horse I have ever met. She is so gentle and loving. Apparently she is used to people hopping on and riding her bareback. I know I sure wanted too.

The grass is greener at home

There really is no place like home. All of the dogs are nestled all snug on their cushions. We had a wonderful vacation and it was so relaxing. We board our greyhounds at this beautiful kennel just outside of Estacada, about an hour’s drive from here. They also have horses. This is Shelby, a six-year...

        Ray-C, portrait of a horse

Day 55, 2012 As a young girl I always wanted a horse. Of course I have always lived in suburban areas, granted they were very small towns in Montana and Wyoming, but somehow having a horse in the backyard just wasn’t an option. So, I hit adulthood having little knowledge about horses. Still, I am...

I grew up with horses, and while they are beautiful and fun, they are A LOT of work! I showed horses, and I think, honestly, I’d have enjoyed them a lot more if my dad hadn’t pushed so hard for me to show them. He didn’t understand just enjoying the relationship I had with them. Sometimes I miss seeing them, but I don’t miss cleaning up after them! lolReplyCancel
