It was used in some of the earliest paintings known to man. Dogs and bulls can’t see it. Nature sports it in fruits, vegetables and meats. But my favorites...

    Frozen in time

Day 693 We’ve had a few frosty, foggy mornings here for the last few days. I’m not particularly fond of the cold, but I like the fog and the frost is fascinating. When I ran home at noon to run the dogs it was still foggy. Beside the garage door hung a spider web, frozen...

Nice shot Terri. Very abstract looking and really like your choice of monochrome processing.ReplyCancel

    Shades of fall

Day 666 This bush lives outside of the building I work in. Last year I noticed the vibrant purple berries. The tree right behind the bush is turning a beautiful orange. They just seem to go together.

589 – Do you see what I see?

I was out taking pictures of the dogs this afternoon and moved in on Moose’s eye with my macro. I didn’t expect to see so much reflection in his eye and I certainly had no clue that I would see a colored reflection.

Very pretty – all the more so because of the bright red … ??? … in the background. What is that Bokeh'ed plant?ReplyCancel

I was trying to figure out what the red stuff was, too! lol Dandelions are so unappreciated!

BTW, you asked where I found all my Greyhound history. I have a book called Reign of the Greyhound written by Cynthia Branigan. I start there with a lot of it and then do research to find out more about different things that interest me. Sometimes I just get lucky, too, and get tidbits of information here or there that are just lucky finds!ReplyCancel
