This was one of the first images I took Sunday night while I was waiting for the twilight. I loved the shadows. For the life of me, I can’t tell what they are coming from.

This was one of the first images I took Sunday night while I was waiting for the twilight. I loved the shadows. For the life of me, I can’t tell what they are coming from.
I am up in Portland taking a workshop with Zack Arias and I couldn’t help myself, I had to run over to the Esplanade. I shot the bridge from this angle on February 28, but tonight was much better. I’m glad I backtracked.
Awesome Shot! Really love the reflection and colors.
Real nice shot Terri. Love the play of colors as reflected in the water.
ISO 100, 70mm, f/32m, 25.0 sec I took this nearly a month ago. This sign is without a doubt, one of Portland’s icons. It lives on the west side of the Burnside Bridge, but it wasn’t until tonight that I knew the history of the sign. It was erected in 1940 for White Satin Sugar....
The reflections and lighting are beautiful
I've always loved your night photography. Thanks for the history bit on this sign. Hard to believe how much it takes to maintaine and keep that sign.
ISO 100, 27mm, f/18, 30.0 sec The fog was just starting to roll in as I snapped my final shot of the evening.
Awesome shot!
So beautiful!
ISO 100, 23mm, f/22, 1.6 sec Since Karen was craving Ethiopian again today, I got to spend some more time on the Esplanade. I was in high hopes for a more vivid sunset, I guess this will just have to do. Those clouds were full of little raindrops.
Beautiful shot! Colors and reflections are amazing
It looks like a fire back there in the clouds. Very interesting. Great scenic shot.
Wow Terri, that is beautiful. The colors are so pretty, and the reflection is amazing!!
Lovely the lighting on the side of the bridge and the reflections in the water. I’m guessing the railing on the bridge and light poles are making most of them, but the “cross” near lower mid-picture is a mystery.
This photo gives me a nice, going-home feeling…
