    Dear cancer

I know you and I have had this dance so many times before. But why Joey? You look at me, rolling your eyes, glaring back and asking why not? I want to cry, I want to scream, I want to throw things. We’ve had enough. It’s never fair, you pick the best dogs and why oh why...

So unfair. I am so sorry. This disease is so cruel. Love to you and your babies and may you enjoy every moment with him. He couldn’t be in any better home.ReplyCancel

Oh darling! I can relate. My boy had cancer 8 months ago he lost his leg and was doing well for a few months. He was a big boy and his other leg and hip couldn’t stand the pressure. I lost him to the big dog park in the sky a few weeks ago. It’s still raw, I miss him.ReplyCancel

Such a beautiful guy, my heart breaks for him and you. Certainly not fair for such a sweet gentle creature to have this awful disease. Prayers!ReplyCancel

    Portrait of Rosie

This pretty little lady came all the way up from Cottage Grove to have her adoption portraits take today. She is currently available for adoption through Canine Miracle Rescue in Eugene. When she got out of the car, I was completely taken back by both her beauty and gentle manner. She’s not a small girl...

    Wishing you a Zoiful Howliday

The Riverfront Park in Salem is always a favorite gathering place. Every year they light up a huge tree just at the edge of the parking lot near the river. Tonight we took the boys down so that I could experiment a bit with the lights from the tree, and like the beautiful borzoi that...

      Butterflies in December

A co-worker brought her two little papillons over for Christmas present photos. Seriously, could these two get any cuter? Coco and Lucky are litter mates and they flitted around my rustic little studio just like fluffy butterflies. Lucky is the big brother of the pair. He really was quite attentive and eager to please. Of...
