Up in smoke

ISO 105mm, f/11, 1/125 sec

The assignment this week for Project 52 is “Show me the money”.

Story spin is:

“Is Our Currency the Problem?

A recent study shows that the money itself has created a shortage of capital.”

So that is the story spin… that somehow the money we use is part of the money crunch. Yes, I made that up, but it is no more farfetched than what the Washington types feed us on a daily schedule…LOL – so consider it FACT!

Illustration to show this phenomena…

Not that I would ever want to portray myself as an idiot, but I have no idea what they are talking about. I much prefer to leave politics and economics out of my vocabulary.

What I do know, my paycheck isn’t increasing at the same break neck speeds as a gallon of gas, a bag of kibble or the fixins’ for peanut butter and jelly.

So for me, the value of the dollar is just going up in smoke.

Oh, and by-the-way, George was not harmed in the making of this photo. It was a photo of George, a flaming piece of paper and a little elbow grease in Photoshop.
