Pet Portrait Photography

Portland and Salem Oregon

We all wish that our pets could live forever, but really, it’s photos that keep their memories alive.

I photograph the animals that rock your world, warm your heart and make you laugh so you can treasure and show-off their heart, soul and humor forever.

Our Sessions

We offer a variety of sessions. Here are just a few of our most popular sessions.

At home pet sessions

Tonkenese cat

You love your life at home. Your creature comforts are there and you want photos of you and your pet that are familiar to you.

Imagine a breadth of photos ranging from action shots of your pet playing in your yard to whimsical shots of your dog or cat lounging around the house to images of you and your beloved pet snuggling on your favorite couch.

In the garden studio

Bring your pet to our studio. This is a two-part session. A quick session in the rustic studio with lighting and backdrop for more formal photos.

Our gardens are nestled in a cozy acre surrounded by six-foot fencing. Most pets are completely safe to wander around and stretch their legs off-leash.

Celebration sessions

Black and Tan dachshund

An end-of-life session. These sessions are for pets that are nearing the end of their lives. If they have reached the golden ages and it’s time to capture their snowy faces or if they have been diagnosed with an illness.

These sessions celebrate your pet and we've never had anyone regret doing a celebration session.

Hi! I'm Terri

I can tell you straight up that I will enjoy every minute with your dog or cat as I photograph them. My goal is to capture their soul as I look straight into the camera, their heart when they look into your eyes with love, and their humor as I capture their silly looks or they run straight for the camera.

If your pet needs a little extra magic after-the-session editing such as removing the leash, I can make it so you won't even know the leash was there.

Book a session and come hang out with me at my garden studio.

That's my best boy Zip. We hang out together a lot.

Unique worthy

Award winning photographer

The pet portrait that brings happiness to the family is truly the only award that matters. And yes, a little bling from a judge is also nice.

Beautiful garden studio backdrops

Each session starts in the Rustic Studio. The Rustic Studio has the cozy warmth of a mountain cabin complete with antique settees, a pot belly stove and an old iron twin bed. Then, we step out to our 6 ft. fenced acre of year round gardens.

10 years as a pet photographer

Tens years of pet photography have flown by and I love every second I spend photographing animals. However, my time in front of the lens dates back to the dark room with black and white film.

Experience with barnyard critters

I will always love dogs and cats, but barnyard critters always charm the socks off of me. Chickens were definitely the gateway to photographing the less than traditional pet, but goats, sheep, horses, and cows are always welcome in front of my lens.
