Once upon a holiday season in 2014, a magical collaboration began between Santa Paws and Terri Jacobson Photography to do a photo fundraiser for local non-profit pet organizations.
At first, Santa Paws delighted animal lovers by meeting good doggies and kitties in the cozy back rooms of local pet stores. This charming partnership quickly captured the hearts of pet lovers throughout the area.

In 2017, the festive magic found a new home at Terri Jacobson Photography's studio in NE Salem. Each year, Santa Paws and Terri Jacobson teamed up to create a unique and enchanting theme for their much-anticipated Santa Paws Fundraiser. These themed events quickly became a hallmark of holiday joy, bringing together communities and families to celebrate the spirit of the season with their furry companions.
2017
A significant milestone in their story unfolded as Santa Paws moved to Arizona, yet remained steadfast in his commitment. Every year since, Santa Paws has returned to Salem for a weekend of magical photo sessions, ensuring that the tradition continues to thrive.
2018, 2019, 2020
The Santa Paws Photo Fundraiser is more than just an opportunity to capture festive moments. It is a heartwarming event with a purpose. This year's fundraiser will benefit Operation Dog, a noble cause that resonates deeply with the pet-loving community.
2021
Capturing the spirit of the season, the 2024 Santa Paws Pet Photo Fundraiser invites pet owners and Christmas enthusiasts alike to experience a whimsical session on a beautifully themed Christmas Tree Farm set. For a $100 session fee, pet parents can enjoy a delightful 30-minute session with Santa Paws. The entire session fee, along with 10% of net sales from in-person ordering appointments, is donated to Operation Dog.
2022
Participants also receive a complimentary metal photo ornament and a chance to have their pet's image featured on Terri Jacobson Photography's Facebook page. After the session, pet lovers are invited to a reveal and ordering session to choose from elegant photo options, ranging from statement wall portraits to beautiful folio boxes.
