Amazing dogs all around
This year we hosted the Second Annual Pooch Playoffs to benefit Born Again Pit Bull Rescue. 16 dogs delightfully posed on bright colored backdrops hoping to be voted the Ulti-Mutt Cutie.
For 8 days…
The voting commenced round the clock. Each bracket advanced half the dogs of the previous bracket until the champion was voted in.
And then…
Everything was going smoothly, all of the dogs brought their A game.
A new player entered the court.
Meet Rugar.
A delightfully happy boy that fell on hard times and into Born Again Pit Bull Rescue's lap. He came with a rather hefty vet bill as his dowry and Round 2 came alive to raise just a little more money for the goofy guy's vet bills.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to all the dogs and their humans that participated. Every one of the dogs was amazing to work with and were so much fun for me to photograph.
Toshia and Jessica from Born Again Pit Bull Rescue were wonderful supporters in helping me find such great dogs to photograph.
